In the Community

Our community is enriched by the compassion and generosity of so many people who share their time, talents, and resources to empower and enrich the lives of others. Our team at Linden Financial Group is committed to supporting their efforts and the work of local nonprofits.
In 2015, Charlene Dolan received the "Book of Golden Deeds" award from the Exchange Club of Greater Newburyport for her work with the Veterans Legacy Initiative in support of our World War II veterans.
In 2013, Charlene was recognized as a Community Champion by the YWCA Greater Newburyport. This award recognizes individuals who exemplify the organization's mission of enhancing the quality of life for women and families.
Charlene has also been a volunteer mentor for more than 13 years for women living at the YWCA residence and those escaping domestic abuse with the support of the Jeanne Geiger Crisis Center. "Charlene empowers our residents not only through her financial training but also through her caring spirit," said John Feehan, executive director of the YWCA. "Her volunteer work has helped residents get back on their feet and empowered them to live better, more secure lives."
Danielle Holmes is president of the board of directors of the YWCA Greater Newburyport. The YWCA is committed to empowering women and families through several initiatives: financial literacy, affordable housing and child care, racial justice, and health and wellness programming.
In addition, Danielle has served as an ambassador for Our Neighbor's Table, coordinating food drives in the community. As the mother of four, Danielle has devoted many hours volunteering in the schools. She has also served as committee chair for Pack 4 Cub Scouts and volunteered with the Amesbury Boosters and the Amesbury Soccer Association.
